What to wear
Friday (Oregon Country Fair)
The Oregon Country Fair is a place to be creative, to let go of your desire to be something for someone else, and to let out your inner child! It’s perfectly normal to clown around, compliment strangers, take a nap in a foresty cove, explore art, and dance barefoot.
Please wear whatever you would feel very comfortable in. This is a fun opportunity to wear a mythical costume or elaborate garb that someone in your fantasy novel would wear. You’ll see fair-goers dressed a little bit clown, a little camp, a little hippy, a little festival, and a lot of color and glitter. Be whatever you want to be for the day, but definitely don’t wear jeans.
Saturday (Ceremony)
Summer, garden celebration! The more color, the better.
Bright colors: Jewel tones, eye-catching patterns, colored suits
Fun textures: Glitter, sequins, tulle, satin, embroidery, stripes
Cool accessories: Funky neck tie or bow tie, colored tights, out-there shoes, fun sunglasses.
When in doubt, wear something you consider nice and dressy, and that makes you feel confident!
On a perfect summer day in Oregon, its around 89 during the day, and a little chilly and breezy once the sun goes down. The chance of rain is pretty low, but we’ll have a better idea of the weather when it gets closer to that time.
Be mindful about your shoe choice - we will mostly be on grass.
Sunday (Lake Day)
Be comfortable! We’ll be swimming and laying out in the sun, playing board games and eating brunch.
